This is a project I had long envisioned creating: simply, being able to offer my art (from abstract paintings to patterns of all kinds and for all purposes) in downloadable form. And, it is finally here! Or, at least, I have seriously started with it. This first web page is offering my Geometric Pattern 1 for licensing: It is a pattern with clear, yet intricate lines. I have worked on it to create variants in colours (both in the lines and the background). This pattern is offered at extremely low prices and comes with a Royalty Free License!

Allowed Uses

You may reproduce the image in any and all media for all purposes other than the prohibited uses specified below. This is a perpetual license that never expires.

Prohibited Uses

1. The image may not be used to create fine art prints - including (but not limited to) standard prints, framed prints, canvas prints, metal prints, and acrylic prints.

2. The image may not be sub-licensed to a third-party or offered for sale as a standalone file on any website or other medium (i.e. you can not attempt to sub-license the image or upload it to stock photography sites such as GettyImages.com, Shutterstock.com, etc.).

3. The image may not be uploaded or displayed on any website or other medium which is designed to induce the sale of "on demand" products such as canvas prints, framed prints, t-shirts, coffee mugs (i.e. the licensee can not upload the image to FineArtAmerica.com, Cafepress.com, GettyImages.com, etc.)

4. The licensee may not falsely represent that he/she is the original creator or copyright holder of the image.

Geometric Pattern 1 Licensing: Rights Managed Licenses

Below, you will find a complete list of all available Rights Managed Licenses. The text might look long and somehow tedious, but I prefer to put things straight right from the start!

Guide: when you click on the pattern you are interested in, you will see on the screen (under the price tag) a rectangular saying "Royalty free License". You now have to click within and scroll down, until you find the type of Rights Managed License you are interested in. That's it. From there, you are guided to the price tag, the license (in plain English) and the Formal Agreement.

Advertisements (Digital)

Allowed Uses:

You may use the image to create a digital advertisement that will appear in a digital medium (e.g. website banner ads, mobile banner ads, etc.)   Please note - this license does NOT include TV ads.   If You want to purchase the image for use in a TV advertisement, please purchase the TV advertisement license.

This license has no size restriction.

This license has no quantity restriction.    You may create an unlimited number of digital ads and run the ads an unlimited number of times during the term of the license.

This license is valid for two years from the date of purchase.   Once the license expires, You would need to purchase a new license to continue creating and running advertisements using the Licensed Image.

Before moving on with the various other license types, I thought of displaying my images in between-along with some descriptions/comments.

Geometric Pattern 1 Licensing:

License: Publishing (Print)

Allowed Uses:

You may use the Licensed Image as part of a physical publication such as a book or magazine.   The Licensed Image may be used on the cover and/or inside pages of the publication.   Please note - this license does NOT include CD covers or inserts, DVD covers or inserts, Blueray covers or inserts, video covers or inserts, or any other packaging of any sort.   For packaging uses, You need to purchase a packaging license.

This license has no size restriction.   When printing the Licensed Image in the physical publication, the Licensed Image may be printed at any size.

You are restricted to using the Licensed Image in only one publication.   You could not use the Licensed Image in two different books, for example, nor could You use the Licensed Image in one book and one magazine.   A separate license must be purchased for each different publication.
